Jewellery, diamond and gemstone valuations and certification for the jewellery industry and the general public.
We are an Association of Jewellery Valuers who have been valuing for the Jewellery Industry, Auction Houses, Australian Customs, Law Courts and the general public for more than 30 years.
All gold members of the NJVA have completed recognised International and Australian diplomas in the study of gemmology and jewellery valuing.
Silver NJVA members are recognised experts in a specific field within the the jewellery industry and specialise in these valuations.
Our aim as an Association is to provide professional unbiased and accurate valuations to the jewellery industry and the general public.
We pride ourselves on our professional approach in the way we conduct our business and look after our members and clients.
In today’s ever changing world within the jewellery industry, we are constantly having to update our systems and technology to detect treatments and synthetics.
We as an association, have the the latest and most up to date testing equipment in the world today. This technology is available to all our members in our laboratory to ensure accuracy and confidence in valuations our members perform for clients.
The Association has Master Colour grading stones for Cape Series Diamonds.
We also hold the only full Argyle Pink Diamond Master set in Australia which allows NJVA to be at the fore front of Argyle Pink Diamond Certification.
Our Members Valuations follow International and Australian standards and ethics.
Our members have access to the latest trends and market fluctuations which is important when providing an accurate valuation for our clients.
Consistency in valuations between all members is important to us, with this in mind we provide access to International Diamond and Gemstone price lists and a set Mark Up standard which all members are obliged to follow as per Membership terms and conditions.
All members valuations provide a photo identification if possible, diamond and gemstone size with millimetre measurements, colours and clarity, metal weight, manufacturing style if applicable, and gram weight which gives members clients a full breakdown of the piece being valued.
All members are trained and fully qualified to perform accurate and expert jewellery valuations to an accepted industry standard.
